jen & dawny's trek into the rainy city

so i've been commissioned to do a co-worker's make up for her wedding. i had to return to the mac pro store in san francisco to return an eye shadow that a SA sold me two of. so i invited my co-worker to come along (who is not much of a makeup person at all!) and while we were there i asked the MA if she could show her some colors that would work for her wedding. i told her how she wanted something subtle but yet with blue too. the girl there was super nice and she was so willing to help my friend. in the end my friend ended up leaving with new eyelashes! her first mac product, i believe. on top of that it was something that i've never even attempted to try.

she's been wearing them to work the past couple of days and she looks so happy when she wears them. it's good to see her that happy in the office for once. so i went yesterday and bought some cheap ones at long's and when i got to work this morning, dawny was a little sad to see that i didn't have them on. i told her because i left the bag in my office and forgot to take it home. well, i brought them home today. i gotta say i'm a little intimidated by them. partially because i'm afraid that if brian (my boyfriend) saw them, he'd think i was trying to have long eyelashes like him. he hates his and wishes he could get rid of them. what guy doesn't like to hear women fawning all over them? mine, that's who!

i came home today (secretly) hoping my pro card would be in the mail. i knew it wouldn't be though. i'm being impatient but i hope it gets here before next friday! i just want to HOLD it.
